Unlike regular yogurt or even Greek yogurt, Skyr is strained more intensely, resulting in a denser texture and significantly higher protein content.

Our Story
Fjör started with a simple frustration.
France — where Rajiv, Mohil, and Khushi first discovered Skyr — a thick, high-protein Icelandic yogurt that completely changed how they looked at “healthy food.”
It was creamy. It was satisfying.
And most importantly — it didn’t taste like a compromise.
But when they came back to India after their studies, they realized something:
Skyr didn’t exist here.
And definitely not in a way that tasted like what they had experienced in France.
At the same time, they saw a bigger gap.
India’s protein market was growing — but it wasn’t built for real people.
- Some products had protein, but no taste
- Some had convenience, but were overly processed
- Some were “healthy”, but not enjoyable
Nothing brought together Taste, Convenience, and naturally high Protein.
So they made a call.
They turned down their job offers in France — and came back to build Fjör.
A new-age protein brand for a new generation.
One that doesn’t force you to choose between:
- Eating healthy
- Enjoying your food
- Or fitting it into your lifestyle
And at the heart of it all?

Rajiv
A full-blown movie geek who also plays an unhealthy amount of sports — from cricket to football to tennis. Slightly obsessed with perfumes, and always down for good Chinese food.
Mohil
A trained classical singer (yes, he will make you practice your sargams). Also the team’s in-house chef — especially when it comes to Italian. His pasta is kind of a big deal.
Khushi
Your go-to person for anything cat-related — a proud mom to three cats and a walking encyclopedia on all things feline. Loves hiking, travelling, and never says no to great Thai food.
